Dude.

That's the argument that I make at people when they're too depressed to value things like their own happiness and sense of self-worth. That's what I tell them when they tell me there's no point in getting treatment because they don't deserve to be happy, or because it will cost time and money and resources and they're not worth that, or--insert argument here. People go to therapy because it helps them be HAPPY. People go to therapy because it improves their relationships!
