Friending policy:
If you subscribe, I will likely subscribe back. I'm more picky about allowing access, because this is an old account, but don't take it personally; I rarely make access locked posts, so you're not missing anything. If you wanna say hi, feel free to do it on this post. You don't need to introduce yourself or be subscribed before you can comment, drive-bys are welcome, though I would certainly be happy to know how you got here.
Fannishness:
I most often write meta or commentary, but sometimes commit art or fic. Fandoms include (but are not limited to) Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Harry Potter (begrudgingly), Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, and Mob Psycho.
Transformative works policy:
A story belongs to everyone who reads it. Do what you want with it, just credit me and let me know what you're doing. Podfic, fanart, translations, headcanons and fic-of-a-fic are all chill.
Signal boost?:
Any post whose title starts with "Signal Boost" (or "Signala Akcelo" if Esperanto) is made through the ljwrites version of the Signal Boost bookmarklet, which links any webpage you're looking at as a Dreamwidth post, with special functionality for common sites like ao3, Etsy, Tumblr, and Dreamwidth itself. Think of it as the Dreamwidth version of a reblog or retweet. Pro-tip: try highlighting text, then pressing the bookmarklet!

I welcome all the following types of comments on ANY of my entries:
Single or two word comments, e.g. , woo!, yay, yes, no, please, thanks, absolutely, agreed, seconded, so much, no way, etc.
"+1" or Facebook style "like".
Otherwise brief comments, e.g. single sentences.
A comment that is a punctuation mark(s) to let me know you read, e.g. a period, an asterisk.
A comment that is a punctuation mark(s) to express your response, e.g. an exclamation mark or question mark.
A comment that is an emoticon(s) to express your response, e.g. \o/, <3, :), :(, :-D, :-P, etc.
Long, wordy comments. Rambling is totally okay.
Comments and links on related topics.
Comments on single links, entities, paragraphs, topics, or words in the entry.
Sequential commentary. It's totally okay to comment about one thing as you read it, then another thing in a separate comment, then a third thing after you've chewed on it for a while and feel ready to talk about it.
Incoherent comments. It’s all good. I would rather have you here and showing interest, even if it's just a *flail*, than for you to stay silent because you are afraid or unable to get the perfect comment out.
Talking amongst yourselves in the comments is fine. I like creating a place where people get to interact!
I also welcome:
Comments on older entries, access-locked or public.
Comments from people who are not subscribed to me.
Comments from people who I’ve never met.
Comments from people who haven’t talked to me in a while.
Comments from people who’ve never talked to me.
I DON'T welcome:
Comments on VERY OLD access-locked entries. This journal goes back a long ways. If I've granted you access, I'm trusting you not to go digging around in my cringy teenaged angst without good cause.
